Research Lines and Master's Thesis (TFM)

The Master's program is built around 6 cutting-edge research fields. All faculty members and researchers affiliated with the program are eligible to supervise Master's Theses across any of these areas:

  • 🔬 Nuclear Structure: Theoretical models, fundamental properties, and behavior of atomic nuclei.
  • ⚛️ Nuclear Reactions: Theoretical and experimental analysis of collision mechanisms, scattering, and nuclear fusion.
  • 🛠️ Experimental Nuclear Physics: Instrumentation development, detection systems, particle accelerators, and data analysis at major research facilities.
  • 💡 Applied Nuclear Physics: Practical applications in energy, medical physics (radiotherapy and imaging), environmental science, and materials research.
  • 🌌 Hadronic Physics: Study of hadrons, quarks, internal subatomic structure, and the strong force (Quantum Chromodynamics).
  • ⭐ Nuclear Astrophysics: Exploration of nuclear processes driving stellar evolution, nucleosynthesis, and cosmic phenomena.
💡 Thesis Supervision: All Master's faculty members listed on this website are available to supervise research projects within any of the lines above.
