Based on the Inter-University "Nuclear Physics" Doctoral Programme (2006-2008 / 2007-2009 / 2008-2010), which has been granted Quality Certification:

The Inter-University Master's Degree in Nuclear Physics is an adaptation to current legislation of the postgraduate studies under the inter-university Nuclear Physics doctoral programme, which was awareded the Quality Certification of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport in the periods from 2005-2007, 2006-2008, 2007-2009 and 2008-2010.

This Quality Certification recognises the scientific-technical and teaching excellence of the Doctoral Programme and the different groups and departments involved in its execution. This certification enables the Doctoral Programme to opt for funding to assist with mobility of teaching staff and students offered in specific tenders by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport.

The Doctoral Programme is included in the list of Quality Doctoral Programmes offered by Spanish universities, a quality guarantee that may be used for the following purposes:

- Participation in national funding programmes and competitive scholarships to foster and promote higher education and scientific research and the training policies of human resources departments in these fields.It is also been taken into consideration during the applications for postgraduate scholarships under the National Training Programme for University Teaching Staff.

- Assignment of resources, both of the Institution itself and external public and private partners.

- Cooperation with the business sector and other national and international organisations and institutions.
