Inter-University Master Degree on Nuclear Physics

Course 2026-2027

Subjects, venues and dates

In-person attendance is mandatory during the weeks specified. In particular, due to the practical nature of the experimental courses (Radiation Protection, Applied Nuclear Physics I and II, Experimental Nuclear Physics, or Advanced Experimental Techniques in Nuclear Physics), failure to attend will result in an automatic fail for the subject.

The final column indicates the deadlines for assignments, problem sets, lab reports, etc., to be completed by the students for each respective subject, as well as the dates for the exams that have already been scheduled.

* This subject, which maintains essentially the same content and structure, will be held at two locations during the 2026-2027 academic year: Madrid and Seville. Students will be divided into two groups: those enrolled in Madrid and Salamanca will take the subject in Madrid, while those enrolled in Seville, Barcelona, and Granada will take it in Seville. This distribution is provisional until final enrollment numbers are known, as we require both groups to be balanced in terms of student numbers.

** These subjects will be taught in English for all students (the rest will be taught in Spanish).

*** The visit to the ALBA Synchrotron is expected to take place on April 23rd (Sant Jordi), pending final confirmation.
